Midmark Releases New Recommendations for Optimal Sterilizer PerformanceEdge Admin
With most sterilizer customers, downtime due to leaks and repairs on the equipment is common. Edge’s factory-trained technicians can perform the necessary annual maintenance to ensure your autoclave repairs and downtime are kept to minimum. Please read the direct advice from Midmark below, and let us know if you have any questions. These recommendations were created based on mountains of data from devices in the field over several years.
“To help maximize the life of your sterilizer, it is important for routine periodic maintenance to be performed per the instructions provided in the User Guide for each model. Additionally, to minimize sterilizer downtime and workflow disruptions due to unexpected failure, Midmark recommends being proactive by performing periodic maintenance at the intervals listed below. This provides an opportunity to check and/or replace those components subject to wear. These maintenance intervals were established based on data obtained from Midmark product lifecycle testing.”
