Evans Awatey was born and raised in west Africa in the city of Tema, Ghana. Evans moved to Providence, Rhode Island in 2011 at the age of 19. He joined the US Army Reserve medical unit in 2012 and decided to become a Biomedical Equipment Technician in 2017 where he attended the DOD BMET School in Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Personal experiences and the love for working on medical equipment, ensuring patient safety and providing quality patient care was what led Evans to pursue this career path. Evans is a hardworking guy that enjoys having fun, playing musical instruments, working out and trying different kinds of foods.
