Edge Biomed Surpasses 25,000 Pieces of Medical Equipment Under ManagementEdge Admin
Edge Biomed has earned the trust of several customers who rely on the medical service and asset management company to help them navigate the numerous state and federal regulations that pertains to the equipment they use to diagnose and treat patients.
With growth more than doubling in the last 7 months, Edge’s President continues to invest in and expand the company’s capabilities. “It is very encouraging to continue to see such a positive response to our offerings across all markets. We continue to add new customers and remain committed to provide each of them with the best service possible,” says Matthew Spencer. “We are investing in hiring the right talent and have already expanded into 5 new markets with plans to open several more this year.”
Edge Biomedical performs equipment repairs, on-site annual safety checks and manages several aspects of their customer’s operations through a proprietary, web based software called eBioTrack. In addition to reminding the customer when inspections are due, the intuitive program allows the user to track staff requirements like vaccinations, continuing education and other daily, weekly and monthly tasks. Spencer is bullish on the possibilities for eBioTrack and how it is used by Edge’s customers. “The program was initially designed as an internal tool for Edge, but became much more, based on the feedback from our customers. This software will never be completed. We will continue to improve it by adding features our customers want. This is just one of our efforts to be more than simply a medical repair company. We want to assist our customers in operating several aspects of their business.”
Formed in Franklin, Tennessee in February of 2017, Edge Biomedical has locations and factory trained technicians in Boston, Providence, Hartford, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Tampa and Indianapolis.
