Edge Biomed Supports Commonwealth Purchasing Group’s 20th AnniversaryEdge Admin
CPG’s 20th Anniversary celebration took place in Orlando, FL at the Great Hall of China in Disney’s Epcot resort. In attendance for Edge were President, Matthew Spencer, Director of National Accounts, Tommy Nicholson, and Tampa-area Edge Technician, Ryan Fox with his lovely (and very pregnant with their first child) wife, Amanda.
CPG is a very special buying group that caters to community health centers (CHCs). These CHCs provide much needed care to our population, and their budgets are typically strained. Finding savings is always a priority. While saving money on purchases is an obvious place to start, services can provide savings in multiple ways. Annual inspections are an expense that can always be reviewed, but full preventive maintenance checks according to the manufacturer guidelines can also extend the life of medical devices, delaying the need to replace them. In addition to Edge’s superior service processes, CPG members also save money on several CPG-specific benefits only provided by Edge.
“We are fortunate to serve dozens of CPG members across the country, and we look forward to working with more of them in the coming months,” said Matthew Spencer.
“I have seen first-hand what these facilities do for their communities. It means a lot to us that we are able to support them in their incredibly important work,” Tommy Nicholson shared.
Edge services many types of medical equipment, including:
Autoclaves and Sterilizers
- Vital Signs Units
- Pulse Oximeters
- Exam Tables
- And Much More
Edge Biomedical is a proud supporter of the noble mission of CHCs, and we are pleased to provide service and savings to all of CPGs members.
