EDGE adds Ventilator Training to List of Factory Certifications

Edge Biomedical is constantly improving and innovating, and one of the most important ways that we do this is by training our Biomed Techs to use new equipment. We are excited to add ventilator training to our technicians’ extensive list of qualifications.

After attending a training session with Drager in Ohio, our personnel are equipped to service the V500 and VN500 ventilators. The V500 is used to treat patients in an acute care setting, and the VN500 is designed specifically to treat the smallest patients in the Neonatal ICU.

From neonatal to geriatric patients, our techs have the knowledge base to service the hospital equipment that you need to provide the best patient care. In addition to ventilators, our techs can provide services for fume hoods, incubators, microtomes, x-ray and MRI equipment, and ultrasound equipment. This list is not exhaustive but gives a glimpse into the various services we can provide in a clinical setting.
